The Challenge

Hatch Studio supported a multinational digital product company in an internal design organization project. They needed support in empowering their UXR and UXD teams to identify areas for future improvement, particularly in how challenges are framed, research is designed and conducted and insights are shared within the organization. Our collaboration involved 4 sessions with 8 to 10 team members in which we delved into their current process, their opportunity areas and conducted hands-on exercises using a real challenge from their organization. Through this collaboration, Hatch Studio played a crucial role in providing the teams with a clear process, a tool box for the future and new communication strategies between them and their internal and external stakeholders.

Our Approach

We conducted 4 half day sessions in which we worked on 4 topics:
  • Setting up research studies, understanding how to frame challenges and develop the right methodology
  • Synthesis, uncovering insights and sharing them internally
  • How to conduct usability testing and implementing feedback in product design
  • How to carry out surveys and when to use which methodology

Practice and Teamwork
During the sessions we switched from theory to practice and teamwork. We faced the team with real challenges from their organization and helped them navigate the process while guiding them and providing best practices.

Improve internal process
Besides the Workshops itself, we delivered templates to be used in the future by the team, in order to simplify and professionalize their internal processes.
